How to write a do-not-play list
It matters as much as the must-play list. Here’s how to write a good one.

A good do-not-play list is short and honest. Five to ten songs is plenty.
Be specific
“No cheesy songs” means something different to everyone. Write the actual titles.
Think about your guests
If one song reminds a family member of someone they’ve lost, put it on the list. We’ll never play it, even if a guest asks.
